John Whitford Communications installs Wi-Fi systems for residential Homes, Businesses, Hotels, Motels, RV Parks, Ranches and any location that needs a strong secure connection. We offer both standard and managed systems at an affordable cost.

New construction prewire is for a home our business is critical. Without the proper planning and wiring you may lack the communications infrastructure needed for today’s demanding connectivity. We design a layout and prewire for TV, Home Theater, Wi-Fi, Internet, Data, Cellular and Audio/Video for business and residential projects. Of course, we also wire or rewire existing homes and buildings.

John Whitford Communications provides installations at remote sites. Big Red our 4x4 service truck offers onboard power, satellite phone and is fully stocked with tools and equipment. We have provided service for the USGS and NASA at remote unmanned sites. In the backwoods on a muddy dirt road, no problem.

Setting up a special event requires planning, part of that planning is connectivity. Your guests may need Wi-Fi to share the event. Your vendors may need the WiFi to process credit cards. You may need phone service to keep in touch while at the event or have a live camera to see what’s going on after closing. Our mobile unit offers WiFi, Internet, Cellular and Observation all in one convenient package for rent. 

Did you by your electronics at Costco, Best Buy or somewhere else? We can still install and set them up for you. Did you move and need to reconnect everything, we can do that? Did you just get a TV and want it wall mounted? Yes, we do that too. We setup satellite, audio, video and TVs no matter where they came from. Hook it up? We do that.

Disaster’s can happen anywhere at any time. As a public service we offer to San Luis Obispo County Government a disaster communications response unit. If requested by the county or Red Cross this unit is provided at no cost. This is our way to help our neighbors when the need arises. As a service we offer delivery, setup and service at no charge. The unit provides TV, Internet and Wi-Fi for those affected and that need a way to connect with friends and family.
